The Health Issues Associated with EMF Radiation

It is a well-known fact that radiation exists everywhere. We cannot avoid this in our environment. We have it in our food, we have it in our body, and we have it in outer space. Radiation to a certain extent has been crucial to society.

We are using it to build new war machines and firepower in the military. We have also engineered new medicine, using X-rays and other medical tools to diagnose patients and doing radiation therapy to treat cancer. We have also found a way to extend the shelf life of our food with radiation and paved the way and revolutionised how we live our lives in the present.

Having said that, it’s not all rainbows and sunshine with radiation. With radiation, we have also had negative effects associated with it. Radiation is a tricky matter to deal with. On the one hand, it has proven to be beneficial but, on the other hand, it may cause riskier and more dangerous effects on our lives, causing illness and deterioration in our bodies.

We must be fully aware of the risks radiation poses in order for us to know and weigh for ourselves if radiation is worth the risk.

Here are some health issues and concern that have been associated with radiation:

Certain research claims that there is no direct connection between cancer and radiation. Their research reasons that it is because there could be many factors and causes of cancer in a patient. Because there is no control group in the research, it is hard to pinpoint the cause of cancer in patients. However, we cannot avoid the fact that high radiation doses in humans cause cancer. This has been proven by the Chernobyl accident.

No one can forget the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 that caused people to suffer and die from the high level of radiation in the area. During those times, the death toll of humans who died of radiation-induced cancer was high. Most of the cancer victims died of thyroid cancer.

Until today, the resounding effects of that fateful day still linger in the country. The level of radiation in these parts of Russia is still at a high rate. Although some people still live there, it is considered dangerous and unsafe for habitation because of the radiation still present.

It is known that low dose radiation may cause temporary sterility and a high dose might cause permanent sterility in men. Women are also affected in the same way. They may become permanently sterile if they are exposed to high levels of radiation.

Cell damage

In the field of medicine, it is known that radiation therapy is the number one choice of every doctor to cure patients with cancer. When the doctors explain it, they say radiation therapy exposes the body to radiation to kill off the “bad cells”. But, you should know that radiation therapy actually also kills the “good cells” too, which are your healthy cells.

With these health concerns, better be sure that you are well protected from the harmful effects of radiation. Get some EMF protection to help you with that.
